Essential Program

The Essential Program is for people with low bone density conditions, such osteoporosis or ostepenia. Following this protocol will enhance your health span by improving bone density, muscle and joint strength, mobility, posture and balance.

We offer safe, individualised OsteoStrong sessions to rebuild your strength, reclaim your independence and live fearlessly, whether you’re managing low bone density or past fractures.

According to the Royal Osteoporosis Society, and scientific studies, some of the risk factors associated with poor bone health, which can lead to conditions like osteoporosis and increased fracture risk:

Age is a major contributor, as bones lose density and strength naturally over time. Hormonal changes, especially in women during and after menopause due to a decrease in estrogen, also significantly affect bone density.

Nutritional deficiencies are also key, particularly insufficient intake of vitamins, minerals, protein and healthy fats for bone and muscle formation and maintenance. Lifestyle choices such as a lack of physical activity, excessive alcohol use, and smoking can exacerbate bone weakening.

Many medical conditions and medications, like long-term corticosteroids, thyroid disorders, and celiac disease, chemotherapy can negatively impact bone health. Genetic predisposition also plays a role, with a family history of osteoporosis indicating higher risk.

Addressing these genetic, lifestyle, and environmental factors can help poor bone health prevention and management.

The program will  guide you on how to best manage these risks, whilst focusing on making maximum use of our targeted skeletal strengthening systems.

OsteoStrong work closely with associated health professionals, such as osteopaths, chiropractors, nutrionists, to address all bone health risk factors, to offer a holisitic approach to overall wellness. As part of your trusted health care team, we can provide relevant and timely reports to your primary health care providers and specialists on request.

I’m feeling a lot stronger at the gym since I started my workout routine with Osteostrong. I use 5-6 machines and have seen remarkable improvements on the three that most closely match the machines in my Osteostrong routine. Pull ups - I’m now able to lift myself using my stomach muscles while hanging from a bar. Before I just hung! Leg press - I’m now able to do 50 kg easily. When I first started going to the gym it was 27.5 kg I can also use the assisted pull up machine with the assistance reduced from 42.5 % of my body weight to 35 % and I am progressing towards 27.5%i doing more reps at this weight each week. I’ve no hesitation in recommending Osteostrong. Osteoporosis is such a debilitating disease and it can be reversed. I’m six months into my programme at Osteostrong and I will have an MRI scan at the end of my first year. I’m hoping for great results.

Diagnosed with osteoporosis and osteopenia I was surprised, depressed and horrified. As the meditation can have complicated side effects I started looking for alternatives and the Royal Osteoporosis Society recommended trying Osteostrong - to find it was only a drive away was such a relief. I have been coming over a year now and all the team are so friendly and supportive. I have had a scan done and will have another in a year to see if there has been a halt in bone density decline. It is good to be doing something to try to improve my bone health. I like having access to my progress graphs and Ryan and Victoria share helpful advice and tips via WhatsApp and are always available if you have questions.

I have suffered from Osteo arthritis in my hips and had a them both replaced in 21 and 22. To prevent further damage in other parts of my body I am keen to strengthen my bones. My husband and I have been members at Osteo strong for nearly two year. With low impact strength training guided by our coach we attend every week. Slowly improving and improving our overall strength and flexibility With a very welcoming atmosphere the coaches are there to support your own personal journey. The exercises complement our weekly Pilates class and our tennis played twice a week at our local club.

I highly recommend osteostrong. I had hip tendinitis and nothing I had tried worked. My sleep was being disrupted. After one session of red light and PEMF therapy I was in a lot less pain and able to sleep again.

I am 78 years old and have had osteoporosis for some years now. I say 'have had' but it would be more true to say 'had'. I have been going to Osteostrong Tunbridge Wells since September 2024 and my last Dexa Scan in August 2025 showed a significant improvement in my bone mass (without benefit of drugs which I do not take). I will no doubt see a similar improvement at my next Dexa scan in August 2026. I particularly appreciate that this has been achieved in weekly 20 minute sessions which are easy to fit into a busy lifestyle. I am so glad I found Osteostrong!

Although I have only been attending Osteostrong for a couple of months with the encouragement of the team and use of the specialised equipment, my bone density is improving. I’m so glad I discovered this clinic. 🥰

I’ve been going to Osteostrong weekly since autumn last year following an osteoporosis diagnosis. The atmosphere is very friendly and I enjoy the sessions with the expert coaches, who are really knowledgeable and encouraging. After 20 sessions, I am already much stronger and seeing the benefits in the gym and in daily life, and am confident I will see an improvement in bone density within a year or two.
